Hoekwil is a quaint little town situated in the Western Cape in South Africa. Hoekwil is one of the most beautiful towns in the Cape, it might be small but it has a lot of heart and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The views it has to offer are magnificent, from sea and lake to mountain, what more could you ask for? There is a local village shop which has all the necessary, daily groceries from fresh bread, veg and local arts and crafts from the community.
Attractions:
The Hoekwil Hoopla Route is a 30km circular motor route which the whole family will enjoy. The views are beautiful and there are many en route stops to choose from along the way from arts and crafts stalls, museums and tea gardens to mention only a few. Another great attraction in the area is the Garden Route Mall, this is definitely a one stop shopping experience. It is conveniently situated and is popular amongst locals and visitors. The whole family will also enjoy spending the day at the Wilderness National Park which covers 10 000 ha and offers hiking trails, canoe trails, fishing, abseiling and many more exciting adventures.
Climate:
Hoekwil is situated in the Western Cape and enjoys a Mediterranean climate with warm to hot and dry summer months. The winter months are cool to very cold and wet.

Terms & Conditions
- The property (you) must offer the 15% saving to all verified members
- Verification is done automatically at the time of an enquiry. It is at the property’s discretion whether to offer the saving for a telephonic enquiry. (As you have no means to verify the membership number, it is advisable to get them to do a formal enquiry so they can be verified).
- If the property is currently running a "Special" greater than 15% then the "Special" price will apply. (No further savings needs to be offered). EXCEPT in the case where the "Special" is lower than 15%. In that case the 15% will apply.
Example: A property offering a 10% discount, must offer an additional 5% discount to valid members - so they get a total 15% saving. - The property must offer valid members the saving all year round. (Properties that pick and chose in which seasons to participate run the risk of being removed from the programme completely. Allowing selective participation defeats the integrity of this initiative).
- The property must not inflate the price before the 15% is applied. Prices displayed should be the rack rate. (The official or advertised price of a room).
- The property must honour any bookings made while the property was participating as a $elect Stays property.
- The property must honour the agreement and the spirit in which the initiative is designed to benefit local tourism.
